The Black Heritage Project centers on the history and people of the Talcott Street Church, Hartford’s first Black church and school for Black children, which was located on a site next to CT State Capital from 1826-1954.

CT State Capital is pleased to announce the third annual Pennington Lecture: Dr. Eddie Glaude, Jr. on February 8, 2024. The program starts with a special event for students at Capital. $10.00 Admission, Free for Capital Community. Registration is required.
